Trapezius – Standing Hands on Shoulder Shrugs

Springs:

Warming Up the Shoulders, and demonstrating how to do the shrug movement, which is used in other exercises.

Stand next to the reformer, placing the hands on the shoulders or by the sides.

Raise and lower the shoulders slowly, without moving the elbow joints or changing arm angle.

Repeat a few times.

Exercises:

Elevation/Depression: Hands on shoulders OR Hands overhead
Protraction/Retraction: Hands forward
